Earthy and Minimalistic- These were the two words we kept in mind while designing our workplace.
A linear space with one open north-facing glass façade governed the spatial organization. The work desk was placed near the entrance, with a small waiting area, while the meeting room was pushed inside. There was no formal segregation of workspaces- just one big table along the length of the space, where everyone works, discusses and banters-thus came about a robust wooden work desk, finished in Kandla Grey Stone top. The tag boards are also designed very consciously to provide opportunity for people to interact across the table and not feel boxed in .
The entire furniture is finished a natural polish extracted from wooden barks, keeping the breathability of the material alive.
The director’s table top is made of reclaimed wood, polished with the natural polish, stained with grape extracts and charcoal.
