A home designed for a family of five, a young couple with two girls and their grandmother- exudes Indianness and functional minimality.
The aesthetic is kept largely rooted in tones and hues of its warm Indian roots. The cozy scale of the home led us to a largely monochromatic color scheme- the datum of which is the brown of the wood. With the constraint of not being able to change the flooring provided the builder and no civil changes possible, our entire focus was on giving a functional, designed space which feels connected while at the same time each room has their own identity and aesthetic.
